PRESIDENT'S NOTES
a) Our next meeting at the Maleny Hotel on 21 July is a business meeting. Whilst it’s pleasing that our own Sunshine Coast lockdown has come to an end, we all need to log in with our Qld App, and don’t forget your masks - which can be removed when seated. We can look forward to an interesting presentation from CL on the Kiva project in Nepal before she departs again for Kiwiland, and it will be a Partners’ Night to further our celebration of the induction of Neil Andison aka the Platypus Whisperer into our Rotary family. His mentor will be Ric T.
b) Recent Club events and Community Service
• Many thanks to Chris B, Paulette S, Bernice and John McL for their further parking duties at Australia Zoo, which I have mentioned previously has proved a solid source of revenue to our Club when so many of our usual other car parking and fundraising activities have been cancelled throughout our previous Rotary year due to COVID 19.
• Congratulations to Sherryl G and Val France from our Speak Up Now Collaboration who attended at the Maleny Hotel last Wednesday afternoon for the delivery to the Hotel of 2000 new Speak Up Now coasters for display Spea and use around the Hotel. A copy of each side is attached. The coasters present a powerful, succinct and informative message to patrons of the Hotel.

• Whilst doing the rounds of local businesses promoting our Pride of Workmanship Awards and Dinner, Paulette S, Alan W and myself have been astounded by the number of new and innovative businesses that have started up and are flourishing within our community. We will be visiting local businesses in Coral St and Bicentenary Lane on Monday morning from 9.30 am. If you would like to join us, please contact either Paulettte S or Craig S for arrangements.
• Kite Flying Event. I was able to catch up with Barb Jones from our SUN collaboration to test fly one of the kites we are looking at using. It flew first time in the light breezes.
• Planning Matters. Are you the member of one or more of our club sub-committees? We are involved in many activities and projects throughout our community and beyond, and we will spend a few minutes at our business meeting to confirm memberships of these, with particular attention to ensuring:- every member is on at least one of these,  - members are involved in activities that are of interest to them, and each sub-committee has sufficient members to undertake their work and has a leader and deputy that can report and update a director on their activities/ projects etc.
c) Upcoming Events
• 28 July Vocational Visit to The Maleny Chocolate Factory behind Monicas Café & Pizza afterwards at Jenn’s Pizza located at Finbars Bicentenary Lane has been postponed to the 4th Wed in July namely Wed 28 July. We hope members are able to reschedule. Please contact Paulette to confirm your attendance.
• 1 Aug Kenny Cluster Joint meeting with new District 9620 DG Wendy at Australia Zoo commencing 8 am to 10 am.
• 21 Aug Pride of Workmanship Dinner.
• 17 Oct Kite Flying Event – at Beersheba Living Museum, Ziza Field and Maleny Settlers Green. We will be working with our Speak Up Now partners, Blackall Range Zonta Club, Maleny Neighbourhood Centre and Maleny District Sport And Recreation Club (Gail Denver) to plan and deliver this new creative arts and recreation event involving local children and their parents with a theme of Domestic and Family Violence and Elder Abuse Prevention.
• Woolworths BBQ Roster. Just a reminder to keep an eye out for the roster.

MINUTES OF MEETING OF 7TH JULY
President Greg opened the meeting by welcoming our guest speaker and followed with updates on current projects – Speak Up Now, Kite Flying (not the bank sort!), Peace Pole, another gazebo, 2022 calendar, our travelling jackaroo is in Ingham, and Pride of Workmanship Awards.  CL reported that she had approached the Queensland Country Bank regarding support for our Education Support Fund.  Greg reminded us that registrations for attendance at the Kenny Cluster meeting with the DG on 1 August at Australia Zoo need to be made by 16 July.

After good fellowship, Bernice introduced our guest speaker Megan Lee, the new Education and Communications Officer at Barung Landcare.  Megan worked for a number of years as a community outreach officer for Illawarra Landcare in NSW and has an outstanding reputation for building community engagement in caring for the environment, including with young people.  Originally from Wollongong (NSW), she moved to the Sunshine Coast over two years ago to be closer to family, put her roots down, and settle into a new community.  She is passionate about environmental conservation, outdoor adventure, responsible recreation, mental health and wellbeing, how we connect with nature, personal development, and supporting and mentoring young people.  When she’s not ‘working’ you’ll find her out hiking or creating artworks (she is a print maker – lino cuts are her thing!).With the support of an excellent PP presentation, Megan described the history of Landcare and then focussed on Barung’s activities past, present and into the future.  Landcare was launched in 1986 with the support of Government and the Farmers’ Federation and the 1990’s became the decade of landcare.  6,000 groups and 100,000 volunteers quickly spread to 25 countries.  Barung was established in 1989 responding to emerging environmental issues locally – 10% of Australian plants, 20% mammals, and 50% of birds are found in our area.  2.5 million plants have been planted with the help of over 700 members.  Contracting services provide employment for young people.  An extensive nursery provides plants and education.  The annual Wood Expo attracts over 10,000 visitors and the Bunya Dreaming Festival is also popular.  Links have been made with various other groups like Bush Links and the Baroon Catchment Group.  Community workshop events and field days are held regularly and Gardens for Wildlife reinvigorated.  A rainforest and garden for wildlife are being established at Barung’s new home on the Precinct and plans for the new Nature Centre have been approved but it is proving difficult to source the preferred materials due to the current unsettled times so modifications need to be made.

There were a good 15 minutes of questions due to the interest that Megan’s talk had engendered and the vote of thanks was delivered by Michael who commended Megan on her presentation.  President Greg then closed the meeting.

PRESIDENT'S NOTES
It's a huge welcome back to CL C and Leon from the land of the long white cloud and I am looking forward to hearing  CL's report on our Nepalese projects.
- Over the past weekend our Rypen representative Nathaniel Audley from Yr 10 at Maleny State High School attended the Rypen camp at Coolum.
- Many thanks again to Sherryl G, Jeff C, Paulette S for joining me recently  to help out with assisting the smooth running and delivery of the RYDA youth driving education project at Corbould Park to a huge cohort of local hinterland students from Maleny State High School, and the Maleny Flexi School accompanied by teachers and staff and who were also joined on the day by students and staff  from Caloundra Christian College. All the students were of their best behaviour, and very engaged. This is a youth driving program that delivers a real impact at a yr 10 level just before many of these students are to start getting either their L or P plates. Saving just 1 life makes it so worth it.
- Our club was also well represented by 14 members and their guests at the recent RUSCCF Dinner and Presention at the USC on 12 May. It was great to hear of the fantastic achievements being made by our local regional university and from the 3 PhD student candidate recipients of this year's scholarship awards. It is hoped that one of the recipients, a creative writer, will attend a Rotary meeting later this year to address us on her work in the Domestic And Family Violence space.
- And a huge thankyou to Chris B and his team Jeff C, Jim A, Alan W and Paulette S who managed a great bar on the night.
- The month of May is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I hope many of you can join me and Sherryl G at the Candelight Vigil at Tesch Park and Walk to the MNC being organised by the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre on 20 May commencing at 5pm.
- And on the following Saturday 22 May, it would be fantastic if we could have as many members as possible to join me in listening to and supporting Sherryl G who will be delivering a presentation on our  local grassroots approach to and achievements that have made by our collaborative partnership known as Speak Up Now in relation to the prevention of Domestic and Family Violence and Elder Abuse at the Zonta Seeds of Change Forum being held at the USC.
- Paulette S is also organising a small group of up to 4 of our Rotarians to provide parking assistance on World Environment Day on the 6th June at Jill Morris' s property known as Book Farm at Reesville where a weed identification forum and eradication project is being held.
- And of course, the Maleny Agricultural Show is almost upon us. It's great to see so many hands being put up for assistance by our members and even others from nearby clubs for either parking duties at the gate and or with food preparation and service at our annual Rotary Food Stall.
- Bernice has reminded me to request that all members who are assisting in the Food Stall must send in to her their Certificate of Completion of the "COVID 19 Dining in" on line course as soon as possible,
- We are still looking for a few members to take on some Directors role in our incoming board. If you are interested, please contact me over the next few weeks.
- And lastly, our Changeover this year will be held at the Orangery on 23rd June. It is a Partners Night. As we change clusters within the new 9620 District, it will be great to have present our outgoing AG for our existing Hinterland Cluster Jan Lawton and our incoming AG for our new Kenny Cluster Tony Long.

Looking forward to catching up with you all either at our next project meeting at the Maleny on 19 May or at the Maleny Show or one of our upcoming activities over the next month.

MINUTES OF MEETING OF 5TH MAY
President Greg welcomed members and guests. There was time for some business before the meal.
• Greg thanked those who attended our successful Cluster Breakfast on Saturday 24 April at the Community Precinct to celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Australia. The morning concluded with John Whan riding in a 1919 Essex Speedster holding the Centenary banner aloft as other club members walked behind in procession around the Ziza Field. A fitting finale to a great morning celebration with the other clubs in our cluster.
• Reminder re the USC Rotary Scholarships Night Wednesday 12 May. Maleny club is running the bar. No cash transactions. $1 added to each drink to cover security costs.
• Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) day at Corbould Park, Caloundra on Thursday 6 May. Greg, Paulette, Jeff and Sherryl will attend. Year 10 Maleny High students plus the Flexi School will be attending.
• Bernice sent around the roster for the Food Stall at the Maleny Show – Fri & Sat 28-29 May. All food service volunteers must do the COVID Safe food training course through TAFE. Send Bernice your certificate when completed. Easy course, registration not so easy.
• Anzac Day services went well. Book vouchers were donated by Rotary to schools.
• Speak Up Now- Domestic and Family Violence project update: May is Domestic and Family Violence Awareness Month.
• Candlelight Ceremony starting at 5pm at Tesch Park on Thursday 21 May, followed by walk to Maleny Neighbourhood Centre for BBQ, speakers and live music.
• Zonta Seeds of Change D&FV Forum at USC, Saturday 22 May, 8am-1pm. Sherryl to do short presentation on behalf of Speak Up Now committee.
• Reminder that the Speak Up Now – Stop Domestic and Family Violence in Maleny and the Blackall Range Project is a combined RC of Maleny, Zonta Club of the Blackall Range and the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre combined project.
• Paulette alerted us to a live comedy act coming to Caloundra which she recommended as a possible club social activity.

Michael introduced our Guest Speaker for the night, Neil Andison, the Maleny Platypus Whisperer. Neil went to sea at age 15. He spent 10 years in the Australian Navy and then 10 years in the RAAF. He retired in 2000 after running an electrical business as well as a job driving cherry pickers. He peppered his presentation with loads of platypus facts as well as photos taken of the platypus he has encountered, and named, in the Obi Obi in the stretch from the Showgrounds to the Community Precinct.
He cleared up early, the misconception that the plural of the Platypus, a marsupial, correctly called Ornithorhynchus anatinus, is ‘Platypus’ not ‘Platypii’ as some of us learned at primary school.
Some platypus facts noted by Neil:
• A fully-grown platypus should have approximately equal proportions of tail, body and head/beak.
• Neil can often tell the female platypus by bare patches on their tails.
• They are genetically similar to birds and reptiles (they walk like a reptile)
• Males have 2 spurs on the inside of the back legs, these spurs have a toxic venom.
• They are found exclusively in Australia & only found east of the Dividing Range.
• They can live up to 20 years in the wild.
• They cannot hear or see, eat or breathe underwater.
• They use electro and mechano receptors to sense their food sources.
• They mate between June- October in Queensland.
• They need to forage for about 16 hours per day to maintain good health, so can be seen at any time of day if you are patient and have time to wait…and wait…to spot them.
• The biggest danger to them are fishing nets- their heads get caught in the netting and as they can only survive about 3 minutes underwater, they drown. Dingoes, Pythons, Birds of Prey as well as feral cats, dogs and also domestic dogs prey on platypus.
• In dry weather they can travel up to 8km overland to reach another waterhole.
• When you see a kingfisher in a creek or waterhole, good chance a platypus may be nearby.
.• Platypus can detect electrical impulses of their prey as well as the pressure waves of obstacles in the water that they need to negotiate.

Neil has an absolute passion for the platypus in the 1.8 km reach of the Obi Obi which he has been observing and photographing for 8 years. He gets up at 4.30am most mornings to walk the creek, looking for the familiar ripples in the water made by the movement of the platypus bills. He has identified at least 11 individuals, many of which he has named and can identify by markings on their bill or head. He showed pictures of Patch, Little Patch, Polyanna and Cleft. In 2020 he turned his passion into a business and now he leads Platypus Whispers tours for small groups on the Obi Obi. His mobile number is: 0412 518 952 or check out his Facebook page if you would like to join one of his 3-hour tours which run from 6am or 4pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Mondays.

Neil was a congenial presenter and fielded many questions. Sherryl gave the vote of thanks and presented him with our bespoke RC of Maleny Platypus bag which he was very happy to receive.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT
SOME STORIES HAVE A HAPPY ENDING

Look closely at the picture first and then read the story:

This actually happened to an Englishman, in France, who was totally drunk.

A French policeman stopped the Englishman's car and asks if he has been drinking.

With great difficulty, the Englishman admits that he has been drinking all day, that his daughter got married that morning, and that he drank champagne and a few bottles of wine at the reception, and many single malt scotches there-after.

Quite upset, the policeman proceeds to breath test the Englishman and verifies that he is indeed completely hammered.

He asks the Englishman if he knows why, under French law, he is going to   be arrested.

The   Englishman answers with a bit of humor, "No sir, I do not! But while we're asking questions,  do you realize that this is a British car and my wife is driving on the other side?”

" Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day!"

MINUTES OF MEETING OF 3RD MARCH
President Greg welcomed members, guests and partners. Bernice provided an update on member, Brian Allen, who has been hospitalised after a serious accident on his property. A roster of Rotarians is being organised to mow the lawn around Brian’s house.
There was time for some business before the meal.
• Chris B advised that the Anzac Day street parade would go ahead this year. Volunteers are required to assist with contact tracing records before the march starting at Cooke Park and also at the RSL for the lunch.
• Paulette advised that the Clean Up Australia activity would focus on the Obi surrounds from the Showgrounds to Gardener’s Falls. Turn up at 7.30am at Tesch Park Sunday 7 March.
• Bernice conducted a ballot which was required for all clubs in District 9600 to endorse the election of the new 2021-2022 Rotary District 620 board to start 1 July 2021. This was passed unanimously.

Important business of the night was the induction to membership of Des Crane. Des was accompanied by his wife, Kelley. Phillip introduced Des with a short bio which described his working life in various regional areas of Queensland and his early training as a baker. He moved from baking to environmental work and gained a degree in production and horticulture. Most recently he has been employed as a farm manager for a pharmaceutical company. This employment led to some time spent in Germany and managing their farm in Kingaroy where the raw product for various pharmaceutical products is grown. Des and Kelley and their family have an acreage in Conondale. Des was enthusiastically welcomed as a member by all Rotarians present.

Guest speaker for the night was Rick Paget, newly appointed as the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre Coordinator and Development worker. Rick has come to this position with a wealth of experience in a variety of areas including travel and tourism, social work, and community development. He has combined this with being a community pastor and a professional coach. He left Western Australia with his family in 2013 and headed to the Sunshine Coast and has never left.
Rick paid tribute to his Grandfather, Barry Paget, who was a dedicated Rotarian in the UK, particularly active in the International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians. He recounted a special trip around Europe with his grandfather where they flew to various cities to meet up with other Flying Rotarians – sounded quite an adventure
He gave a short history of the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre, established in 1992 which is independent, not for profit and a registered charity. It is governed by a managing Committee and has close links to the Flexi-School which is housed in its premises. At present they are working on a 3-year plan. While this is still a work in progress, Rick listed areas of Future Outward Focus. These were Community well-being, Youth, Families and the Elderly, Housing and Homelessness, Indigenous/First Nations, and Disaster Response. Rick described many of the projects operating out of the centre which included the Community Lunch held every Thursday, Emergency relief and the free street pantry, Service Referral, the Fix-it café, TULE- a grief and dying support group, and counselling and JP services
Rick expanded on the area of Housing and Homelessness with several statistics for the Sunshine Coast area:
• 1500 people are experiencing homelessness or are marginally housed
• 1942 people are registered for housing assistance
• 1325 of these are considered very high need
• 769 of these are rough sleepers.
Rick described some of the initiatives being investigated to alleviate this serious situation on the Coast. These were the Bed-down project and a Sleep Bus which could accommodate 20 people overnight and could move to different locations each night. He also mentioned the Maleny Women’s House which can accommodate 3 women for short term accommodation. The Neighbourhood Centre is working on trying to make The Women’s House project more sustainable and looking at different models to run it.
Rick supported his talk with a very professional power-point presentation. The Maleny Neighbourhood Centre is certainly an asset to our community and it was very good to hear directly from Rick about the current situation and future plans for the centre.

It was a privilege to be involved in the Forum on the 26 Aug at the Maleny RSL which presented a wealth of valuable information to our community through 4 excellent informative and highly experienced speakers. A member of the audience Sr Sgt Detective Daren Edwards from the Maroochydore CIB mentioned during a question from the audience that one of the most difficult problems facing our Society is the need to change our culture and attitudes to domestic and family violence which starts in the family through parents who are teaching /modelling behaviour and attitudes to their children.

The collaborating Partners have also designed a new logo and letterhead

4. Pride of Workmanship Awards
Our Vocation Services Director Paulette S and her team together with fantastic contributions on the night from Ric T, Sherry G, and Alan W have held a magnificent Pride of Workmanship Dinner at Tranquil Park on Saturday 29 August 2020. Paulette has also had a great article printed in the MDSRC newsletter with others planned for the GC&MN, SVG and HT. Arrangements are being made to present the remaining award to Melodi Fanti from the IGA during one of our October meetings. As Paulette S has suggested, we should definitely hold the event next year to coincide again with National Skills Week (24th – 30th August 2020 this year).

5. Maleny Settlers Green Project
The Club was also mentioned in the MDSRC Newsletter this week regarding the $35000 funding for the playground equipment. Selection of the equipment is now underway.

6. Nepal - Business Entrepreneurship Training & Support for Women with Disability
Covid 19 and government restrictions including two lockdown periods in Kathmandu Valley have delayed the commencement of this project. Pahichan and Shed the Light Nepal staff decided to implement one component of the project through a virtual workshop. This workshop will be held over three days 12-14 September. The facilitators are blind Nepali women, two of whom live overseas in Denmark and USA where they work as business counsellors to better the position of vision impaired women in those countries. The third resides and works in Nepal.
The aim of the workshop is to enhance the communication and interpersonal skills of women with disabilities and to open new and a wide spectrum of opportunities for business enterprises.
The facilitators will share ideas from abroad and work with the women to find ways to develop effective marketing strategies in the Nepali context. The third day will also be attended by business representatives, NGO/INGO members, stakeholders, government etc. This session will focus on advocacy and networking.
The Rotary Club of New City Road in Kathmandu is supporting the project by contributing supplies to the training program.

7. Kiva
To date, RCM has provided 125 loans totalling $3250 to people in 29 countries. Loans have been in 12 different sectors, mostly in health, retail, agriculture, education and housing.

8. Maleny Education Support Fund
Since July, the MESF has received and approved five applications for support. Government restrictions under the Covid-19 pandemic have, and are continuing to have financial impacts for families in our area. Business downturn, job loss and family fragmentation are appearing as difficulty for families with children of school age. It is anticipated the number of applications for support from MESF will increase in the next 12 months.
The Board has just approved another donation of $2500 into the project.

9. Induction of Craig Sim
I am looking forward to the induction of Craig at our next meeting on Wed 16 Sep 2000. I know that Craig will be an outstanding Rotarian, and enthusiastic member of our club, and hope members partners are also able to join with us in celebrating his membership to our club.

MINUTES OF MEETING OF 2ND SEPTEMBER

President Greg opened the meeting by welcoming 20 members plus guests Craig Sims, Val France of Quota, Guest Speaker PP Greg Isons and his wife Ann.

PP Sherryl spoke of the successful Domestic Violence forum for organisations on the Range.  Signs to be put around Maleny-SPEAK OUT NOW.

On behalf of Quota, Val presented a cheque for $1,000 as feed money for the "Speak Up Now" campaign which was received with applause.

P Greg then said:
- that the Club was liaising with the Mens' Shed to refurbish the seat outside the Post Office.
- that the Pride of Workmanship Dinner had been a great event for the Club.  He congratulated Paulette for organising the event and thanked the four speakers who addresses the theme "Do it once and do it well".
- that volunteers for the Maroochydore Iron Man event must register on line.
- that the Vocational Visit to the Eco Nursery on 30 September was scheduled for one hour at 4:30pm.  It would be followed by a wine tasting and pizza in Finbars.

Lionel T thanked those who assisted hanging the calendar photographs in Maple 3 and announced that the Kiosk had been booked for sales on 30 September.

The Sergeant made his anticipated assault on the truth - and members wallets.

Chris B introduced PP Greg Isons of Rotary Club of Eumundi to talk about their Project Dogura for Womens Health in PNG. Greg had been brought up in India prior to working for 13 years in PNG. He then served 25 years in the Australian Air Force.

The Eumundi Club started making small donations to PNG before deciding to look at Milne Bay Province for project support. It is one of the poorest areas in PNG   They developed a relationship with Dogura Mission which services the remote areas of Milne Bay. The mortality rate of women during childbirth is 80 times that of Australia and 40 of 1,000 new born babies die.  In Dogura the hospital conditions are spartan.

The Club is committed to an initial project of $7,000 for which it has received a District Grant. It is seeking support from other D9600 clubs. The scope of the project includes some refurbishment of the maternity ward, internal toilet and shower facilities and a sewer connection. This is the first step in Project Dogura which has the following goal:

PP Greg would welcome the involvement of other clubs in the future.  Alan Wilson proposed the vote of thanks.

The meeting concluded at 2030h.

PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP AWARDS

Acknowledging and recognizing people taking pride in their work is something that’s rarely done. It’s not about winning prizes, it’s purely about taking the time to show appreciation for a job well done.

On Saturday 29th August, the Rotary Club of Maleny did this at a presentation dinner at Tranquil Park and gave several nominated people a ‘Pride of Workmanship’ award plaque in recognition of going above and beyond in their everyday work.

6 people were nominated and regrettably one nominee, Melody Fanti, bakery manager at Super IGA Maleny, was unable to attend due to an IGA work function on the same evening. Rotary club will do a separate presentation to Melody.

The other 5 nominees did attend, together with their respective nominators, the people that took the time to write some words about why they deserved to be recognized for this award.

It was smiles all around and even a couple of tears of joy when each nominee was presented with their award and the person who nominated them spoke about why they deserved to receive this recognition.

It was also wonderful to see such a cross section of people from various walks of life. There were:

Clive Powell – Volunteer groundsman, gardener, painter, joint curator and more at Pioneer Village

Debbie Rossow – Learning Support Facilitator at the Maleny Independent School

Gayle Pope – Library Officer at Maleny Library

Neal Charlton – Electrician & Sole Trader at Traditional Maintenance

Sherri Dan – Food & Beverage Services at Hotel Maleny

The nominees brought their partners and friends along to enjoy the night with them. It was interesting to see some lingering and chatting with each other long after the official part of the evening finished.

A big thanks to Alan Wilson, a past president in the Maleny Rotary Club, who pushed late last year to have this event held again after a gap of 8-9 years. Little did we know then what 2020 held for us and so it seems even more timely that this event was held. Next year, it’ll be on again, so start thinking about who you would like to see recognized to receive a ‘Pride of Workmanship’ award.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT

If you're not familiar with the work of Steven Wright, he's the famous erudite (comic) scientist who once said:  "I woke up one morning, and all of my stuff had been stolen and replaced by exact duplicates." His mind sees things differently than most of us do. . . here are some of his gems:

- I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

 - Borrow money from pessimists - they don't expect it back.

- Half the people you know are below average.

 - A conscience is what hurts when all your other parts feel so good.

 - A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory.

- The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

 - How do you tell when you're out of invisible ink?

 - When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

 - Ambition is a poor excuse for not having enough sense to be lazy.

 - I intend to live forever... So far, so good.

 - What happens if you get scared half to death twice?

 - If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

- To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research.

- The problem with the gene pool is that there is no lifeguard.

- Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don't have film.

- If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
